About the role

Nishorgo Bunon is looking for skilled, self-driven professionals to join its growing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead architectural planning, conceptual design, and design development across commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare and review schematic designs, detailed design drawings, construction drawings, specifications, and as-built drawings.
• Review and approve architectural drawings prepared by consultants and junior architects.
• Prepare and certify architectural drawings for submission to RAJUK and other statutory authorities, where professionally authorized.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), fire & life-safety codes, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior, and landscape consultants for integrated project delivery.
• Liaise with RAJUK and other regulatory authorities to secure approvals and statutory clearances.
• Conduct site visits during construction to ensure work matches approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare architectural cost estimates, BOQs, and monitor project budgets and schedules.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior architects and draftsmen.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a UGC-recognized university.
• 1st Priority: Candidates from a Government / Public University — e.g. BUET, KUET, CUET, RUET, Khulna University (Architecture Discipline), Jahangirnagar University, etc.
• Must be a Registered Architect and a valid member of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB).
• Professionally eligible to sign and certify architectural drawings submitted to RAJUK and other relevant authorities.

Experience & Additional Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of professional experience in architectural design, planning, and execution — preferably on large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects from concept to completion.
• Practical experience obtaining approvals from RAJUK and other regulatory authorities.
• Strong knowledge of BNBC, zoning regulations, and statutory approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong project management, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills.
